When Dana’s young son Jared becomes pen pals with Sgt. Vince Carrera, a soldier serving in Iraq, Dana never expects Vince to capture her heart and become a member of the family.
This film tells the story of a seven year old boy who lives with his mum and grand mother after the divorce of his parent. The boy who is in a need of a father figure stars a relationship with a soldier marine who’s is very far away on a mission. The boy writes to him about his mum dad his parents divorce and then one day the soldier comes to visit him. The boy’s mum falls in love with the soldier at first sight.
