Description du film :
After discovering that his father has lied to him for years about his estranged sister and his mother, 14-year-old Ilan runs away from home and ends up living with his sister, Daliya, who works on a cruise ship and is having an affair with a married man. While Daliya is at work, Ilan explores her down-and-out neighbourhood and discovers and befriends Avraham, an elderly holdout Communist living in an abandoned building with his weapons cache and marijuana-growing business, biding his time for the ultimate battle against the capitalists. The two siblings rediscover each other under a blanket of sexual tension, while unbeknownst to Daliya, Ilan »apprentices« with Avraham, helping him to cultivate his plants. Meanwhile, a neighbourhood whistle-blower seeks to »clean up« the neighbourhood of drugs and drug dealers, and enlists the police in his efforts. While Ilan is able to rescue Avraham once from being caught, eventually law enforcement sniffs him out, and a battle ensues with Avraham and Ilan holed up in Avraham’s house making Avraham’s »last stand« against »the capitalists«.

Then Daliya leaves for a stint as a cruise ship attendant. Ilan meets Abraham, a middle-aged man who calls himself the »last true Communist«. Abraham is living in a vacant building and growing crops on the roof. Unfortunately, a security force shows up to clear the building for demolition, threatening Ilan and Abraham’s agricultural utopia. Abraham won’t let his home go so easily, and he has the guns to prove it. Ilan and Abraham are in a two-man war against capitalism.
