Nils Bertil Hallberg was a Swedish actor appearing in 105 feature films and television productions. He was active 1934–85. Besides being a frequent performer in the movies, he took part in Swedish theatre as well. Nils Hallberg was discovered at age 13 by director Sigurd Wallén, when he was selecting youngsters for the family movie »Anderssonskans Kalle« (1934). After the career as a child actor he was often casted as villain or the bad guy. From 1955 to 1965 he was highly regarded for a long series of comic roles.His greatest performance on film was in »Kärlekens bröd« (1953).
