The dramatic story of a child from the Moroccan mountains told to the rhythm of percussion instruments. From his childhood in a Koranic school where the children beat out the rhythm on their tablets and the teachers beat their pupils to punish them, to the adult age in a market where the same child, who has become a cobbler, beats the soles of shoes with his hammer. In the market, all the cobblers, smiths and carpet sellers give rise to a real musical band.
