Краткое содержание:
Thirteen-year-old Vincent has not had a happy childhood, by any means. He has not only been forced to watch as his mother is beaten – his stepfather also hits him frequently. When the situation escalates, he calls the police and is taken into a home. But Vincent has great difficulty settling in there, for he tends to sudden outbursts of violence. Without warning, he hits the teacher and his roommate Brimstone. But Brimstone has been living in another world since the death of his parents; in the world of butterflies. One day, he takes Vincent out for a trip into the countryside with him, and the two of them start to develop a cautious friendship. But then Vincent loses it again.
