Bahia countryside in the sixties. It should have been an ordinary afternoon for Zeca if his dad hadn’t got a bottle full of chilli-peppers as a present. It is a beautiful yet very dangerous bottle. Zeca must get rid of the peppers!
»Pimenta« is based on the childhood memories of the director, in the interior of Bahia during the sixties. The film depicts the perverse relationship between two brothers when the older Tinho convinces the younger Zeca that the devil’s spirit is contained in the bottle of peppers that his father was given.
