Jérémy is back from vacation at his mum’s but school hasn’t started yet. After a fight with his dad, he and his friend Abad try to find things to do to make the day pass. As the day goes by, their actions get more desperate.
The film’s realism manages to convey the strong feeling of hopelessness and anger that fills the boys.
Both aged twelve, Jérémy and his pal Abad live in a desolate neighbourhood outside Paris. As they are bored they decide to go to Paris but as this is August, the empty streets of the capital are as boring as their usual environment. To kill time they do nasty things, such as annoying a man in a telephone booth or lashing out at a friend. After a while, they meet a girl, older than them ...
