Υπόθεση:
A farmer and his daughter discover a golden casket without a lid on a plot of land they received from the king at their request. Ignoring his daughter’s advice, the farmer takes the casket to the king. As predicted by the farmer’s daughter, the king accuses the farmer of having stolen the lid and has him locked up.The clever and pretty farmer’s daughter has to solve three riddles to free her father. Not only does she stand the test with flying colors, she also wins the love of the young king. As queen, she insists on having a say whenever right and wrong in respect of the king’s subjects is discussed. Soon the king’s vanity is offended. He expels his consort, who is so close to the people, from the castle. She is only allowed to take what is dearest to her. Wie kann man nur vier Sterne für diesen Film geben?
Die Hauptrolle spielt die Bauerntochter und die Knaben, die mal im Film vorkommen, sind nur Beigemüse.
Wenn ich könnte, würde ich diesem Film nur einen Stern geben.
