Υπόθεση:

One day at the entrance to a cave Jirka finds the fossilized remains of a trilobite, a 500 million years old crustacean. Together with his friends, he decides to undertake a scientific expedition back to those primeval times: They start out during the holidays in a rowing boat. After travelling through the cave they travel back into the various individual periods of the Earth’s past, heading for the primeval ocean of the Paleozoic period. In the Ice Age they encounter sabertoothed tigers and mammoths, going on into the Tertiary, and into the Mesozoic period. In the age of dinosaurs, they witness the fight to death between a Tyrannosaurus rex and a Stegosaurus. At the end of their travels, they stand on the shores of the Paleozoic ocean where they find a living trilobite!
