Υπόθεση:
Nuclear war in the United States is portrayed in a realistic and believable manner. The story is told through the eyes of a woman who is struggling to take care of her family. The entire movie takes place in a small suburban town outside San Francisco. After the nuclear attack, contact with the outside world is pretty much cut off.Jane Alexander gives a moving performance as a mother trying to cope with the loss of her husband and the expected after effects of a nuclear bomb attack. This is not, obviously, a happy film and will be disturbing to some younger viewers but it does vividly show what could result if the bombs are dropped. The entire movie was shot in Sierra Madre, California, which certainly resembles the areas in and around San Francisco.
