While Montreal is in the throes of a string of kidnappings targeting young boys, ten-year-old Felix is finishing his school year in the seemingly quiet suburb where he lives. A sensitive boy with a vivid imagination, Felix is afraid of everything. Little by little, his imaginary demons begin to mirror those of the truly disturbing world around him.

While a series of kidnappings of young boys is raging in Montreal, Felix, 10, finishes school in Old Longueuil, an ordinary suburb of peaceful appearance. Imaginative and sensitive, Felix, like many children, is afraid of everything: the possible divorce of his parents, who seem to be going through a crisis; maniacs who prey on little boys; shady neighbours, and even AIDS. Little by little, the childhood imaginary demons merge with demons of a disturbing reality.
