No friends. School stinks. And Mom is in love with a sleazy lawyer. Pretty bleak. That’s how life looks to ten-year-old Gage when into his world pops the magical Munchie. Munchie is a mysterious creature from another world who delivers flying pizzas and brings on the parties! With the help of Munchie and loonie Professor Cruikshank, Gage has the greatest summer ever!
In this movie, Gage Dobson comes across a chest in a cave containing an otherworldly creature named Munchie. Gage sets him free, where he is able to make the wishes expressed by those who become friends of his come true. Gage takes advantage of this to level the playing field with his school bullies and get his mother to get together with the father of his love interest, Andrea. However, Munchie tends to use his magic to cause trouble (and hilarity) to ensue, putting all the blame on poor Gage.
