Υπόθεση:

Set on the romantic Mediterranean island Malta, a young boy witnesses an assassination but he is known as a daydreamer and nobody believes him. Alone he must now face the stark reality of a dangerously over-active imagination. Ziggy is the young boy who witnesses a murder of a black official by the police. Like the boy who cried wolf, Ziggy has been known to stretch the truth and exaggerate. He is therefore, unable to convince the adults of the murder. The »bad« cops realize that Ziggy saw them, and they are on his trail, so he, his sister, and her boyfriend hit the road. The real police arrive and it is found out that Ziggy was telling the truth, and the chase is on.

Ziggy is an 11-year-old boy living on the island of Malta with an overactive imagination and the habit of telling wild lies. But when he sees the brutal assassination of a visiting African president by two rogue policemen, nobody will believe his story. Can Ziggy convince anybody that he is telling the truth before the psychotic cops are able to hunt down and murder the only »EyewitnessÂ«?
