Υπόθεση:
Ale, a seven year old kid, lost his father when he was very little. After years, Uncle Claudio comes back in the family house where Ale lives with his mum, Giulia. Ale feels an instinctive dislike to Claudio, and is tormented by scaring apparitions. He ends up sabotaging the brakes of Claudio’s car. But Giulia gets unpredictably in the car: Ale starts running after it, desperate, but he can’t stop the car that crashes in a terrible collision. Ale is shocked. A police inspector takes care of him. He is a special guy, and manages to calm him down and makes him tell his story. Like a young detective Ale is forced to dig into his past, deep into his memory, until the truth is unveiled...
Alessandro, the seven-year-old hero of our story, lost his father when he was just a toddler. He grows up with his mother, Giulia, a swimming teacher.
They live in a house surrounded by trees in the suburbs of the city. It is a bright morning. The sounds of a car awaken the child; he sees his mother leave with his uncle Claudio and he chases after them in fear, screaming relentlessly. He is not able to stop them and the car has a horrendous frontal impact, and Alessandro arrives only in time to see the ambulance take off. He is taken to a Police Station. He is in a state of shock.
A detective takes care of him. Alessandro cries and confesses to have caused the accident by manipulating the brakes of the car. The detective is a special person, very gentle with the boy. He calms him down and convinces him to let out the entire story. Alessandro begins talking about the return of his uncle Claudio, (his father’s brother), whom the boy hasn’t seen since he was two years of age.
From his uncle’s return the little boy’s life begins to be overshadowed by fears, by »visions« which torment him very much. He talks about his problems only with his best friend, Filippo. The arrival of Claudio changes many things: the man courts Giulia – who after losing her husband never remarried – and the old house, which Alessandro is very fond of, is put on sale.
The boy’s frustration and unhappiness grow, and push him to search into the depths of his memory. Like a little detective he plunges more and more into his past, until the tragic truth that caused his hatred for his uncle is revealed.
