Υπόθεση:
After the death of his wife, Dr. Evan Gibbs and his 10 year old son, Nate, leave Chicago to spend the summer setting up a clinic in the North Carolina Mountains. Clashing against the ways of the small community Evan is forced to deal with his recent loss while reconnecting with his son and learning a different pace of life. »Simple Things« is one of the most genuinely heart-warming, moving films about small-town life in America.
Cameron Bancroft stars as Dr. Evan Gibbs, who takes his 10-year-old son, Nate, to the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina after the sudden death of his wife to cancer to set up a medical clinic in the small town of Dunn’s Rock. Through the support of the town’s mayor, Terry Hudson and her daughter, Christina, Gibbs and his son discover more than they expect.
The movie is inspired by the book »The Window of Childhood: Glimpses of Wonder and Courage« by retired pediatrician Dr. Olson Huff, Action for Children’s senior fellow of health.
