The Schefer family is moving from Flensburg to Bremen. Wolfgang Schefer is a Captain in the German Marines and the Commander of the Navy base in Bremen. Sybille wants to get back to her old job, she was a teacher before she and Wolfgang had their first child Felix. There is just one problem: she works at the same school that is visited by their four children Alexander (the youngest, also called Alex), Moritz, Jenny (Henrietta, by rights) and Felix.
