This provocative drama tells the tale of the relationship between a wealthy, troubled boy and an alcoholic skid row bum with no name (»Emanon« is »no name« in reverse) who turns out to be Christ.
The handicapped child of a wealthy widower in New York City becomes drawn to a mysterious angel-like miracle man who appears to be a drunken homeless man. He orders his limo driver to follow the nameless man around so he can watch him perform miracles such as delivering babies and giving away his own alcohol to other homeless people, while his mother tries to keep her deceased husband’s struggling fashion company in business. The boy and his mother are hoping for a miracle, and they just may have found one.
