Description du film :
To escape the police, a thief called »The Professor« pretends to be the uncle of an 8 year old orphan named Marcellino, who is attending the funeral of his mother. The two become friends and Professor takes Marcellino in at his home: an old disused tramway. But after seeing that there is no place for them both, Marcellino invites his »uncle« to his house. Alvaro, the real uncle, knew that his nephew has inherited the house from his mother. He gets the child to go live with him and forces him to beg, along with other kids. The Professor discovers the ignoble motives of Alvaro, but in the meantime Marcellino fled.
