Sinopsis:
It’s 1983 in a small town in Indiana. After playing late with his friends, Will Byers heads home in the dark on his bike. He is confronted by a mysterious figure on the road in the woods near his home. The next morning when she realizes he’s missing, his mother, Joyce and older brother, Jonathon alert the local police chief who at first thinks he’s either been abducted by his father or has just run away. A few strange discoveries change his mind and a full scale search begins. In the meantime, nearby, a young girl who can’t speak emerges from the woods and is found by a restaurant owner who tries to help her, but there is more going on than there first seems to be with the disappearance of one child and the appearance of the other.
