Sinopsis:
A Sunday in the country, three boys hang around, bored. A terrible event takes place, incidentally and without provocation. The next day at school everything carries on as usual.
In a little town in countryside, 3 teenagers kill the time ... Field explores the theme of childhood in rural setting and illustrates the extreme nature of experiences that we may live.
My first short film, Field (2001), was about three 14 year-old boys. I knew it would be hard to find actors of that age that came from the background that I was interested in. I found those three kids from the same school. There was a very interesting dynamic between them. I thought, »If I can film this dynamic, that will be very interesting«.
