Sinopsis:
13-year-old Ibrahim lives in France with his father. At school he is hopeless. The teachers give him a bad note to have signed at home. Incapable of communicating with his severe father, who is out of touch with his reality, Ibrahim gets him to believe that the note is a diploma. Wild with joy, his father runs riot and drags Ibrahim into a crescendo of embarrassing situations. The only refuge for the young boy is his friend Fatou who gives him some courage.
Young Ibrahim’s fresh crush on a girl at school is tempered by the fact he’s just been kicked out for poor grades. Unable to face the truth and frantic to get away from his responsibilities at home to meet up with the girl, Ibrahim tells a little white lie to his father that will have extraordinary repercussions.
