Sinopsis:
During lessons in a school class somebody knocks the door. The teacher and the pupils are astonished when two tiny troll children enter and ask for allowance to take part. The teacher doesn’t complain. Because tables and benches are too big for the mites, they find place on Gunnar’s desk. Soon they make friends. After school, Gunnar carries them home warily in his satchel and has a clear look at the small house in which Peter and Petra live with their parents and brothers and sisters. When the Christmas holidays are near at hand, Gunnar is a little bit sad, because now he cannot see his new friends anymore every day. After the holidays, Gunnar sits expectantly in the classroom, however, the troll children do not appear anymore. What has happened to them?
