Sinopsis:
This genuinely heart-warming baseball movie stars Roy Scheider as Detroit Tigers veteran Billy Young. Nearing the end of his career, Billy sees his chances of playing in one last World Series slipping away as his team tumbles into the basement. Then his biggest fan, a young baseball nut named Alex, decides he can "will" Billy to hit a home run--and it works. Before long, the entire team is depending on Alex to keep on "willing" a sudden winning streak that sends them into the pennant race.
