Sinopsis:
A sad look what the times used to be in the world. In Czechoslovakia, in 1939, there was nothing wrong or unusual to be of a Jewish background. Then, Hitler’s Germany begins to take over. The Silberstein family was a wealthy family. They seemed to have it all. A big house, a very successful family medical practice, a car. But this all slowly begins to get taken away as the German army begins to take over. In a desperate attempt to save their son, David, they put him on a train headed to England to live with strangers until it was safe to come home. Little did he know ...
This film is not solely about this one family, or the boy whom they saved but rather about the over 600 children that this one British man, Harry Winton, saved from the war that broke out. They have many of the ones whom he saved in the last part of the movie thanking him. It was very emotional. A true modern day hero!
