Sinopsis:
One morning in school, Mohamed is scolded by his teacher for the third time for failing to write an assignment in his notebook, is threatened with expulsion if it happens again. When his pal Ahmed gets home, he learns that he has accidentally picked up Mohammad’s notebook; the eight year old then treks off to a distant town to search for his buddy, fearing that his pal will be kicked out of school if he fails to return the homework in an »appropriate« manner the next day. Can Ahmed manage to find Mohamed’s house? Regardless, he has a number of interesting encounters along the way. A very sweet tale based on a poem by Sohrab Sepehri which manages to capture the often not recognized depth of childhood loyalty and how adults commonly eschew that any such thing is possible.
