Sinopsis:
Catweazle is an eleventh century sorcerer who is accidentally catapulted into the present day. There he is discovered by eleven-year-old Benny, a forester’s son, who is hiding the grumpy, unwilling, medieval time traveller in his cellar. Once trust and friendship have been established, the two set off on an adventurous mission to recover Catweazle’s magic staff, the only way to return him to his time. The problem: It is on display as the pride and joy of the local historic museum.

Bei den Dreharbeiten zu diesem Film wurde Henning Baum von Otto Waalkes mit Hilfe von »Verstehen Sie Spaß?« reingelegt, indem das Motorrad über mehrere Takes nicht startete. Auch der Jungendarsteller Julius Weckauf war für diese Verlade eingeweiht. Stand 25.03.2021 ist dieses Video noch nicht auf deren YouTube-Channel veröffentlicht. Hiermit teile ich euch dieses schöne kleine Bonusmaterial mit (wenn es dann mal veröffentlicht wird); es lohnt sich – zumindest nach meinem Geschmack. :)
