Sinopsis:

When their young son reveals he has been sexually molested by the parish priest, a young couple comes face to face with the hypocrisy of the Catholic church. Refusing to take hush money which they soon discover others have, they enlist the aid of a no-nonsense attorney to seek the harshest sentence possible.

For Robbie Guitry, becoming an altar boy is one of his ambitions. Besotted by the glamorous priest, Robbie allows himself to be abused along with other altar boys. Robbie soon realises that what is happening is wrong and his family swiftly take action to protect Robbie and fellow sufferers.
Rather than confronting the issue, the hierarchy in the Church try to silence the families by intimidation and »no-fault« agreements. For the Guitry family this is not enough, which means that the case has to go through the courts at great personal cost to Robbie and his family. Eventually the family win their case and the Catholic Church has since put in place safeguards and procedures to deal with cases of this nature.
