Sinopsis:
Everyday life of Jan, anaesthesiologist and father of a boy is shattered, when a young guy dies because of his fault. Contrary to his human values, he decides to keep this incident secret. Then suddenly, he and his family are put to the test by anonymous threats.
After visiting a party, Jan and Karen are accosted aggressively by two youngsters of Russian origin. During the short brawl Karen’s handbag is stolen. When the next morning Jan goes to the hospital to his early shift, he meets one of the culprits by chance at an underground station and pursues him. The young man flees and gets under a train. Because there is apparently no witness of this deadly accident, Jan decides to keep it to himself. During the following days he develops increasing feelings of guilt, gets nightmares and gives the impression of being deeply uncertain. However, the situation becomes worse. Suddenly, an unknown person sends short videos to Jan’s cell phone which show the underground station, his house and even his son. At the same time Jan feels observed and threatened. Thereby he becomes more and more nervous and irritable, which leads, in the end, to tensions with his wife and his son. Karen finds out that Czech au-pair Milla is involved in the case. During a confrontation at an old farmhouse Karen threatens Milla with a gun and kills her accidentally. Jan disposes the corpse in a lake. Things seem to have calmed down.
