Sinopsis:
Lieke and Milad are best friends. Milad and his family have been living in the Netherlands for years. Suddenly, Milad is told that he and his family have to leave, because they don’t have a permit to stay. Lieke is upset. She wants to find a way to solve this problem. Together with Milad, she begins an exciting journey.
Eleven-year-olds Lieke and Milad live in the same neighbourhood and have been friends for years. They share everything. When Milad and his Iranian parents threaten to be extradited after years of litigations, Lieke is at a complete loss as well. While people protest in the schoolyard, this tough girl travels to The Hague to bring the case to the attention of higher authorities.
Youth film shows how kids, too, are affected by the current extradition policy.
