Lena (Kristina Orbakaite), ten or eleven years of age, moves in with her grandfather and finds her-self attending a new school. The girl’s classmates tease her a bit at first, but she is soon accepted and even develops a romance with a popular boy named Dima (Mitya Egorov), roughly thirteen. The trouble starts when Dima somewhat unwittingly tattles on his pals and Lena decides to take the blame. Now considering the girl a "snitch,« the group of preteens and early adolescents start a crusade to torment her. Question is "Will Dima ever confess to take the heat off his beloved, or is the lad simply too worried about acceptance to do such a thing?« A unique tale that should interest anyone involved with youthful peer groups. Referred to as the Russian Lord of The Flies.
