Sinopsis:

Based on a famous Dutch children’s book, Pietje Bell is a hero to some because he turns everything upside down, but is a nuisance to others. Pietje’s father is having a hard time earning a living, and Pietje does everything he can to earn some money. He finds a job as a newsboy and organizes a circus performance. Unfortunately, the circus vanishes in smoke. When Pietje accidentally discovers a gang of thieves, nobody believes him and nasty articles about him appear in the newspaper. Pietje takes his revenge by becoming invisible.
