Movie description:
One of Laura’s friends (same age as Laura) from the blind school, Jane Canfield, returns to Walnut Grove. She gets a job running the switchboard and is delighted by Mr. Edwards and his charming personality. Then, she receives a letter that she has been chosen to be the recipient of an operation to correct her eyesight. While she is gone, Edwards does some serious thinking and realizes it wouldn’t be fair for her to settle down with him since he’s so much older.
