Movie description:
Steve is blamed for blowing up one of the science labs at the school. The problem is that he was framed because he knows chemicals do explode. He is put on trial at the school with Laura as his defense attorney and his rival, Dexter Thornhill as the prosecution. Myra tries to put the blame on herself saying she is more than willing to be expelled to protect her love. Steve tells her that she needs to let his friend, Laura do her job and clear his name. Dexter’s willing to do anything in his power to ensure the nerd is expelled from Vanderbuilt. Laura quickly figures him out and calls him on the stand after Mister Looney and Steve. She told him that he had the most to gain in Urkel’s expulsion when he tampered with his science project and proved it too. She used the black light to detect chemicals on his hand. After that lights turned on, Dexter loses it and confesses that he was behind the lab explosion because he was sick of being in second place to Urkel. Expulsion looms for Thornhill after his confession as Mr.Shimata escorts him to his office. Charges against Steve were dropped and they throw a party for him.
