Movie description:

Sad, French story starring Antoine Nguyen as »Poil de carotte«, the youngest of 3 kids.»Poil de carotte« feels that his brother and sister are treated much better than him, as he feels unloved by his mom and often abused by her. »Poil de carotte« sets out to prove that he must be adopted to get this treatment from her. However, it soon becomes clear that he was not adopted and is indeed their true son. One day »Poil de carotte« manages to talk to his loving, yet rarely there, father about this. His father admits that maybe the resentment is because the mother didn’t want another child after the second and he insisted that they had a 3rd ... Eventually seeing no way out of the mess, Poil asks to be put into a children’s home to escape the lack of care of his mom. Sad Tale of a boy desperate to be loved.
