Movie description:
When seven-year-old Julia’s parents go out and leave her at home alone, she opens the door to a suspicious stranger. Six months later, the consequences of this launch Julia and her friends on a breakneck quest to save her family. In the course of this she becomes aware of how the world works and the place she and her family occupy in it.
Hard times for 8-year-old Julija: bad grades, a secretive mother and Ana is blackmailing her. Ana knows that Julija let in the friendly thief Nikola when her parents were out. Because he was such good fun, she gave him her mother’s earrings and her father’s passport as presents. Six months later the missing passport threatens to cause severe problems. Julija’s friend Pegi and 70-year-old Ema help her find Nikola. To solve their problems, children often choose strange, but effective means.
