Movie description:
A boy and girl of roughly twelve years fall in love. During a round of sexual experimentation, our heroine’s father bursts into the room and quickly banishes his daughter’s boyfriend. The kids then struggle to furtively maintain the relationship and in the process find themselves posing for a pho-tographer who wishes to capture their youthful, innocent passion. Yet further complications de-velop for them when the boy’s little brother, roughly eight years of age, stumbles upon the photos.
12-year-old Ludovic meets and falls in love with Sophie, a girl his age from a somewhat higher social position. She has a little brother, Joel, who is surprisingly helpful in her endeavors to try to be with Ludovic. After they are caught naked in bed by her father, they are broken up and Ludovic is sent to stay at his grandparents at the beach (in the dead of winter). She runs away and meets him, and the pair try to survive on their own on a wrecked and abandoned hotel, aided by a creepy photographer who enjoys taking near-pornographic photos of the pair. The kids are tracked down and split up again ... but Sophie is determined enough to make a statement and tries to kill herself after Ludovic is put into a drugged stupor at a mental institution.
