Movie description:

When young Petter’s family moves from the city to a remote farm in rural Norway, he is not at all thrilled. First off, there’s no cell phone coverage at his home; second, his dad needs a broadband computer connection for work, so he goes right back to Oslo, leaving Petter and his farmer Mom and little sister on their own; third, he comes into possession of an abused dog whose owner also steals Petter’s family’s car. Worst of all, no one listens to him when he tries to explain things.
