Davide is different from other teenagers. Something makes him look like a girl. Davide is fourteen when he runs away from home. His intuition, leads him to choose Villa Bellini, the park in Catania, as a refuge. The park is a world in and of itself, a world of the marginalized, to which the rest of the city turns a blind eye. But one day the past catches up to the present and Davide has to face the most difficult choice, this time alone.
Davide is not like the other teenagers. His shoulder-length red hair, his physique and also the female facial features make him look like a girl. He is oppressed by his father, and when he is 14, he runs away from home. His intuition leads him to a park in Catania. The park is a seperate world and a gathering place for the misfits the rest of the city residents close their eyes to. After a visit to a porn cinema with a group of youths, the redhead meets Rettore, a new friend. He takes Davide to a community of homosexuals, introduces him to the scene, and teaches him how to make money by working in the street. Davide is a novice who adapts to the new way of life by observing his environment. He watches a handsome young male prostitute and thereby discovers a new love inside himself. However, his painful past is soon catching up with him, and Davide is faced with the most difficult decision of his life, which he has to take on his own this time.
