Movie description:
Young David, orphaned en route to California, falls into the hands of medicine-show rascal Baltimore Dan. Years later, now a trained thief, he’s adopted by eccentric ’Doc’ Brown, retired miner and pharmacist. Doc and David become fast friends in their scenic outdoor rambles. But when they discover a hidden treasure, the idyllic interlude gives way to more troubles and a strange coincidence.
Eccentric Doc Brown rescues orphan David from a medicine show where he has been exploited. They become good friends, but surprises lie ahead when David finds a treasure chest and hides it.
When David, an orphan boy, is adopted by a childless prairie couple, he finally has everything he ever wanted: loving parents, a safe home, and acres of woods to explore. But when he hears that a treasure is lost somewhere in the wild, he’s determined to find it ... no matter what the cost.
