Movie description:
Dean is a shy and small-built teenager. At school, his classmates ignore him, they are heads taller than he is and they act like grown-ups. He meets Tasha, a gentle and simple girl, who will help him in his self-knowledge and to stand up for himself.
Fragile, insecure Dean (14) wants more than anything to be accepted by the »cool« kids. But he only gets teased and bullied, and just can’t get himself invited to the cool kids’ parties where he can only imagine what happens. But when he’s on holiday at a magical farmhouse, he meets Tasha (14), an innocent girl from a small town, and the two fall in love ... Back home in the city, with his newfound confidence, Dean finally gets invited to one of the cool kids’ parties. He even gets to make out with one of the cool girls. When Tasha and her family visit, Dean now thinks he’s too cool for the small-town girl. He blatantly ignores her at first, and then forces himself onto her – the only way he knows how – the »cool« way. But the innocent Tasha rejects him, storming out of his room, leaving Dean to really think about his actions. Back at school, suffering over what he knows he’s lost forever, Dean finally stands up to the cool kids, standing on his own two feet for the first time, learning that the real »cool« is within.
