Movie description:
»Buskers« is the story of Packo, a young Dubliner, and Milos, a Romanian immigrant, who battle to secure a space to beg at a Dublin train station. After a comical battle of fists and of wits, of sly tricks and hard blows, the boys find a truly special friendship in their common love of music.
This is a touching tale of how friendships are made and the film raises the issue of the marked lack of charity shown to refugee immigrants the world over ...
Packo, an Irish lad sings and begs in the street at the train station to support himself and his Dad. In the more lucrative train station, he fights with Milos, an older Romanian boy who speaks no English, and loses his spot. But after a while, they try working together, particularly when the U2-loving Packo discovers that Milos also has a musical talent.
