Movie description:
After losing his job during the Depression and at Christmas time a man leaves home to a new job, but upon arriving there is arrested for a crime he didn’t commit. The man finds his fate in the hands of his three children Bernice, Lilly and Jack who in their effort to free their father before Christmas set upon enlisting the aid of President Herbert Hoover.
The three determined children visit Washington at the height of the Great Depression to plead with the President for their wrongly imprisoned father’s release, hoping to secure his homecoming before Christmas day – but the plucky trio’s attempt to see the most powerful man in the country is fraught with peril. Luckily, they also meet some helpful characters on their epic journey who are more than willing to help make their seasonal wish come true.
