Movie description:
Erez is a boy struggling to cope with his father’s recent death. Alicia is a Russian immigrant to Israel who has telepathic abilities. Her older brother Lev has an intellectual disability and is having difficulty adjusting to life in the family’s new country and Lior is a boy who doesn’t fit in with the other children on his close-knit kibbutz. Together, this unlikely foursome prove to be heroes when they embark on an adventure to rescue two teenagers trapped in a car at the edge of Israel’s remote southern desert.
No one believes Alicia when she says she heard scream from people involved in a car wreck in the desert except for Erez. Erez has recently lost his father to terrorists and feels the loss deeply, but knows he has to help Alicia out. They head out into the desert along with Alicia’s retarded big brother Lev. Along the way they get lost over night on the trip, ending up on an active firing range, and later getting into a tussle with some kids from a kibbutz. One of these lads is Lior, a bit of a nerd who decides it would be a welcome change to get picked on by different kids, so he tags along. Soon, they find the two people, still trapped in their Jeep in the middle of a stream. All the while, though, the police have been hunting for the missing kids.
