On a quiet night in October 1995, two young brothers, home alone and grounded for fighting, must uncover the source of strange, unintelligible whispers slowly surrounding their family’s isolated country home.
»The Whisperers« is a supernatural thrill ride, beginning with a whisper but ending with a scream. More than that, it is a throwback to an era of Sega Genesis, fighting with your brother, and scary stories told under the glow of a flashlight.
A quiet night in October 1995. All 11-year-old Nathan wants is for his annoying little brother to leave him alone with his thoughts, which lately seem to revolve around that girl who sits across from him in second period. All 8-year-old Zachary wants is to play Sega with his big brother, who lately seems to always want to be alone. Now the boys are home alone and grounded for fighting. No Sega, no TV, no leaving their rooms. It’s shaping up to be a pretty boring night in the Ward household. But something is surrounding this isolated country home – something sinister: faint, unintelligible whispers. Their source is a mystery, and only Nathan can hear them. Who are the Whisperers? What are they saying? What do they want? As Nathan begins to investigate these questions, one thing becomes certain: the whispers are growing louder ... Closer ...
